Up N Adam Youth Athlete Academy – Term Program Youth Academy Investment: $525 per athlete Our Youth Athlete Academy combines expert coaching, physiotherapy oversight, and world-class VALD performance technology to deliver a term-long program that builds strength, speed, durability, and movement confidence in young athletes. Mandatory Testing Nights Before training begins, all athletes undergo a full VALD strength and power assessment. Testing Nights (Athletes + Parents required): Thursday February 5th – 5:30pm Thursday April 2nd – 5:30pm These nights deliver crucial baseline and end-of-term data, allowing athletes (and parents) to see real improvements, understand strengths and gaps, and guide individual programming. Term Dates Full program runs Monday 9th February → Thursday 2nd April This includes 8 weeks of structured, progressive high-performance training. What’s Included 24 x 60-Minute Performance Sessions Delivered by a Trainer + Physiotherapist on the floor 3 sessions per week (option to make up missed sessions) Afternoon sessions: Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs Morning sessions: Thu & Fri – 6:30am Full VALD Testing + Written Report -Strength asymmetries -Jump/landing metrics -Hamstring–quad ratio -Hip, knee & trunk force profile -Data benchmarked to age- and sport-specific norms Individualised Athlete Program -Fully customised to each athlete’s testing profile -Delivered via our app -Updated as VALD data changes through the term -Tracks progress, strength scores, load management & readiness metrics Integrated VALD Testing During Every Session Athletes use VALD equipment weekly for tracking improvements in: -Force production -Power -Rate of force development -Control & asymmetry trends This creates continuous feedback loops—not just testing once, but testing throughout. Field-Based Performance Sessions Speed, agility, acceleration, movement quality and conditioning relevant to each athlete’s sport. Why Testing & Retesting Matters for Youth Athletes Athletes progress fastest when training is: -Individualised -Measured -Progressive -Reviewed Our approach follows a high-performance cycle: TEST → TRAIN → RETEST → EVOLVE -Identify gaps in strength, power or control -Build a targeted program to address them -Reassess to confirm progress -Adjust training to keep moving forward This ensures every athlete develops safely, effectively, and with a clear understanding of what creates performance gains.
