SOCCER INJURY PHYSIOTHERAPY NEWCASTLE
Recover Stronger. Return to Soccer. Play With Confidence.
Soccer is a physically demanding sport involving repeated sprinting, acceleration, deceleration, tackling, kicking and rapid changes of direction. Injuries can interrupt training, affect performance and prevent you from enjoying the game you love.
At Up N Adam Performance Training & Physiotherapy in Hamilton North, Newcastle, we understand the physical demands of soccer and the importance of returning to the field with confidence.
Our physiotherapists combine detailed injury assessment, progressive rehabilitation, objective VALD strength testing and sport-specific return-to-play programs to help players recover and rebuild their physical capacity.
Whether you're a junior footballer, weekend player, representative athlete or experienced competitor, we'll work with you to understand your injury and develop a rehabilitation plan suited to your goals.

Restore strength. Rebuild confidence. Get back on the field.
Soccer Injuries We Assess and Treat
Soccer places significant demands on the muscles, joints and ligaments of the lower limbs. Sprinting, kicking, tackling and rapid changes of direction can contribute to both acute injuries and overuse conditions.
At Up N Adam, we assess the injury, identify relevant strength and movement deficits, and develop an individualised rehabilitation program that considers the demands of returning to soccer.
The goal isn't simply to get you back onto the field — it's to restore the strength, speed, movement capacity and confidence you need to play soccer at your best.
Repeated sprinting, acceleration and high-speed running place considerable demands on the hamstrings and calf muscles.
We assess muscle strength, injury severity and running capacity before developing progressive rehabilitation that may include strengthening, high-speed running and return-to-play testing.
Twisting, landing, tackling and sudden changes of direction can contribute to ACL injuries, meniscal injuries and other knee conditions.
We assess knee stability, strength, movement control and functional performance, using objective VALD testing where appropriate to guide rehabilitation and return-to-soccer decisions.
Ankle sprains commonly occur during tackles, awkward landings and rapid changes of direction.
We assess ligament injury, ankle mobility, calf strength and balance before progressing rehabilitation towards running, jumping, landing and soccer-specific movements.
Kicking, sprinting and changes of direction place considerable demands on the hip and groin muscles.
We assess hip mobility, adductor strength, pelvic control and sport-specific loading to guide rehabilitation for adductor strains, groin pain and other hip-related injuries.
Repeated running, jumping and high-intensity training can contribute to Achilles tendinopathy and patellar tendon pain.
We assess tendon loading tolerance, relevant muscle strength and training demands before developing a progressive strengthening and return-to-sport program.
Quadriceps strains, recurrent muscle injuries and incomplete recovery can affect a player's ability to sprint, kick and compete confidently.
We assess relevant strength, running capacity and functional performance, then progressively rebuild the physical demands required for training and competition.
Experienced physiotherapists. Personalised care.
Our physiotherapists combine sports injury assessment, progressive rehabilitation, objective testing and an understanding of athletic performance to help soccer players recover and return to the field.
