CYCLING STRENGTH & CONDITIONING NEWCASTLE

BUILD THE BODY
YOUR CYCLING DEMANDS.

From injury rehabilitation to performance strength, there’s a pathway for every cyclist.

Build the strength, power and physical resilience to support your riding — whether you're tackling long climbs, preparing for a gran fondo, racing competitively or simply wanting to ride stronger and more comfortably.

Our cycling-specific approach combines objective VALD strength testing, individualised rehabilitation, athletic strength classes and one-on-one strength and conditioning to help you perform at your best.

Your Stength Pathway

YOUR STRENGTH PATHWAY

ONE CYCLIST.
FOUR WAYS TO GET STRONGER.

Every cyclist starts from a different place. Whether you're rebuilding after injury, looking for objective strength testing, wanting structured group training or prefer individual coaching, we'll help you choose the strength pathway that fits your riding and your goals.

WHY STRENGTH MATTERS

RUNNING BUILDS FITNESS.
STRENGTH BUILDS CAPACITY.

Every stride asks your body to absorb force, control movement and produce force again — thousands of times during a run.
Strength training helps build the physical capacity behind your running. Depending on the runner, that may mean improving calf and Achilles capacity, hamstring and hip strength, force production, power or simply becoming more robust as training load increases.

The goal isn't to turn runners into weightlifters. It's to build stronger runners.

STRENGTH FOR CYCLISTS

TRAIN WHAT YOUR CYCLING NEEDS.

Cycling strength training shouldn't be a generic gym program.
We focus on the physical qualities that support your riding — developing strength through the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings and calves, while improving trunk stability, force production and muscular endurance.

Whether you're returning from injury, preparing for a mountainous gran fondo, racing criteriums or simply wanting to ride stronger for longer, your strength program should reflect your individual needs and cycling goals.

CHOOSE HOW YOU TRAIN

FROM REHAB TO PERFORMANCE.
THERE’S A WAY TO TRAIN.

Some cyclists need a structured rehabilitation program. Others want the motivation of group training or the individual attention of one-on-one coaching.

Whether you're recovering from injury, preparing for a gran fondo or chasing better performance on the bike, we'll help you find the right strength pathway for your goals.

CYCLING PERFORMANCE TESTING

STOP GUESSING. START MEASURING.

Understand your strengths. Identify your limitations. Train with purpose.

At Up N Adam, we use advanced VALD strength and performance testing to give cyclists an objective understanding of their physical capabilities.

Whether you're returning from injury, preparing for a challenging gran fondo, looking to improve your climbing or simply wanting to ride stronger, we can identify strength deficits, side-to-side differences and areas that may benefit from targeted training.

Your results are clearly explained and used to guide a personalised approach to cycling strength, rehabilitation and performance — helping you make the most of your time both in the gym and on the bike.
